Our research lab focuses on studying various random matrix models and the statistical mechanics of their eigenvalue systems. In particular, we investigate random point processes formed by the eigenvalues of non-Hermitian random matrices, which can be interpreted as systems of charged particles with a Coulomb interactions in the plane.

We explore macroscopic and microscopic behaviors of these random point processes, studying their underlying theoretical basis and examining a range of applications related to these phenomena.
