제목: Primary decomposition in low dimensional topology 초록: In the study of various subjects in algebra, primary decomposition and its generalizations have fundamental importance. In high dimensional topology, primary decomposition plays a key role in several classification results, via the close relationship between topology and algebra. In low dimensions, it was largely mysterious whether primary decomposition would play such a role, because of the essential dissimilarity from high dimensions. In this talk, we discuss recent new formulations of the notion of primary decomposition for key problems in low dimensional topology, and present some related progress.
